CrateOps Operator Refund Policy
This page explains how refunds are handled between CrateOps and operators using the platform.
Customer Refunds
- Operators are responsible for honoring their published refund and cancellation commitments to customers.
- CrateOps may assist with platform workflow and payment processing records, but the operator remains responsible for the customer-facing decision unless required otherwise by law or card-network rules.
- Refunds issued through Stripe will follow the operator's connected account setup and available balance rules.
Platform Charges and Revenue Share
- The standard operator account is currently offered with no monthly subscription fee.
- Because there is no monthly subscription fee on this free account model, there is no monthly platform charge to prorate or refund.
- If optional paid add-ons or one-time services are introduced or purchased, those charges may be non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise in writing.
- Revenue share already earned on completed bookings is not refunded.
Termination and Offboarding Window
- Operators may terminate at any time.
- Because this is a free account model, termination does not involve canceling a monthly subscription cycle.
- CrateOps may provide a reasonable offboarding window so the operator can access records, exports, and transition materials, unless access is suspended for cause.
Data Handoff
- At offboarding, CrateOps will provide a transfer of the operator's available business data, including historical customer, booking, and order detail records maintained by the platform.
- Delivery format may be CSV, export file bundle, or another reasonable machine-readable format.
